I'm Walking Like a 90-year-old Woman

Seriously, hand me a cane, and you'd mistake me for a little old lady. I'm walking—er, shuffling—slightly hunched over. I yelled to Sonia at the store this evening, to slow down and wait for me.

I spent most of the weekend in the yard, digging up grass, leveling a patch of dirt (er, mud), hauling 2x12s (10 footers!), and building one gigantic raised veggie bed. Every. Muscle. Hurts.

And I haven't even started dealing with dirt. That's next weekend. Sonia might take a study break to help, if I beg. (I'm making sure to whine about having a sore back as much as possible, to convince her to assist—and spare me—this weekend.)

No photos yet, but imagine a 3 foot by 30 foot long wooden box that's a foot deep. I'm doing the "square foot gardening" method, which involves putting a grid over the dirt and planting different things in each 1-foot square. That's 90 different squares, yo. Come over and have a salad.
